Hanna Zercher is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music concentrating in Violin Performance, Private Studio Teaching, and American Roots Music. She’s taught students of all ages and levels and offers lessons for many different instruments and musical styles. A classically trained violinist, she’s been playing for 16 years and has been playing mandolin player for 8 years. She has experience playing and performing as a soloist, in quartets, symphony orchestras, rock bands, and more. She’s also a singer-songwriter and is passionate about playing and creating music no matter the style, whether it’s folk, rock, blues, jazz, gypsy jazz, classical, Celtic, old-time, bluegrass, indie, Latin, flamenco, the list goes on. Hanna enjoys helping her students learn and grow toward achieving their goals. Her teaching style involves adapting to the student when it comes to their personal goals and learning styles. She believes that modern education tends to lack emphasis on a student’s uniqueness, creativity, and individuality, so cultivating these qualities in her students is something that she strives toward.
